Tiny post... Daylight saving Struggle!

Daylight saving, for me, is the worst! My work day begins at 8h30 so I have to leave home when it's dark and ends at 5 o'clock so it's already dark outside. It's so hard to stay motivate to do something after work, even my eating habit become harder after that. So here are some of my tricks to stay positive even when your days literally get shorter!

My gym is in the Olympic Stadium of Montreal, how cool is that!
1. Start working out! Working out saved me this year with the daylight saving. After a good workout, even if it's 7h30 I feel like I can do so much more. Usually, after my hour of bus/subway, I'm pretty drained, it takes everything in me to make dinner. But since starting the gym, I do laundry and the dishes at the same time as a do the dinner AND! It's later than usual since I went to the gym! I cannot recommend it enough.

2. Eat clean. I try to eat a little less so that I won't feel full and tired afterward. Pasta is so easy to make but is the worst thing you could be eating at this time. They would give you a boost of energy then make you crash an hour later leaving you feeling drained. Eat vegetable and grain instead. I love eating beans and lentil at this time of the year because it's easy to digest and don't give you craving afterward.

3. Make spa at home 1 or 2 times a week. When I don't feel too good, my go to pick me up is a good facemask. I don't know what it is about having my skin feel soft and gorgeous, but I'm always one hundred percent feeling better after a good tick facemask. Add one for your hair and you're good for the week!

My first language is French, that's why my English is so bad sometimes!

4. Make list. It will help you keep track of your goal and nothing feels better than seeing how much you've been able to accomplish in your day!

5. Go outside on the weekend. It's crucial at this time to get all the vitamin D you can from the outside world, that's why me and my best friend start hiking every Saturday. I also take Vitamin D supplement since It's nearly impossible to get all I need with Canada's weather. The lack of Vitamin D is often the reason why people feel depress during fall and winter so I highly recommend going outside as much as you can during your day off!

It's pretty much it for my ways to help my brain with the daylight saving. Since I'm so late for posting this, I can tell you how much it helped me feeling better! I hope it would be as useful for you ! I would talk to you on Friday! Bye-e.
