One of the first thing I did this summer, and probably the one I did the most was going to l'Esterel. I've talked about this place before and it still is one of my favorite place to go for a chill day. I went once in the beginning of summer with my bf and hi sister, then I went back with only my bf and again with friends.

But my favorite time was with my best friend, we started at St-Jerome and did the 32 km to go there in bikes. It was such a chill and fun day. We had a picnic on by the water and went back later on (if you ever went to le Petit Train du Nord, when you start at St-Jerome you're always going uphill, so it's pretty hard, but you are so grateful going back!) and had pizza at a little restaurant in St-Jerome, it was truly a perfect day!
We also went canoe camping which was a first for me and I enjoyed it so much. We left Montreal early in the morning to go to Gatineau. We got lost trying to find the main area where we had booked the canoe which was really frustrating after driving for 2 hours but we finally find the place! Thank god! We got ready and packed everything in our canoe and were ready for the 12 Km we had to do to get to our Island. The place was beautiful, it's called Lac du Poisson Blanc. If you're ever in this area, I recommended, it's beautiful, and the fact that you have a complete Island for your friends and you is perfect. There was some island where you could stop and jump from rocks, which I did not do because I was to scared, but the guys did and it was pretty funny. We got to our Island at around 6 pm, which was a bummer because we had to get the tents and everything else in place and we were starving and we would have to cook in the dark... But it was really not that big of a deal. We left the next morning pretty early and everybody was pretty tired. It was really a beautiful weekend that I would keep as a souvenir for a long time.
Also in Gatineau, but on another weekend, we went to an abandoned mine which was probably the prettiest place I went! The only problem was, the water was cold as F**k. My boyfriend did a pretty high jump that scared me to death... An important thing about me, I am terrified of height, like so scared I cry when I go snowboarding and have to take the chair lift... but I was still able to look at him do it... And his friend did it right after him and hurt himself so that was the end of that adventure.
Something that really made me happy this summer is when we adopted Tit Bebe! Moune and her are the best friends in the whole universe! They are always playing and cuddling. She is getting so big since we got her and I love her more and more every day.

I went to a setting performative reading which was people talking about sexism in our society. It was pretty informative and quite strange at the same time, but I really enjoyed it. The name was Guerilla de l'ordinaire (Guerrilla of the ordinary).
This is pretty much it for the recap of my summer! I hope you enjoyed re-living my happy memories with me! I would talk to really really soon! Bye-e!
