Makeup struggle... Summer foundation!

If you live in a country where it's cold most of the time and you have maybe 2 months of sun, you know the struggle... buying foundation for summer. I hate buying drugstore foundation, my skin is really dry and it makes my face cake-ish and my skin even drier. Since every foundation has a "throw after that many months of being open" expiration date, I feel like it's a big waste of money. So instead I buy bronzing powder!

I use to have a lot of difficulty with bronzing, I always did too much! Here are some of my trick to have the most natural bronzing look.

You don't need an expensive bronzing powder for this, actually, I feel like it's easier with a cheaper brand since it's less pigmented. What I'll do is put a small amount first, then leave the bathroom. I used to try and make my face look exactly like my skin and I would always do way too much and have to wipe my face and start again. I guess your eyes see your skin wither then it actually is since the foundation is really contrasted with the color of your face and make you feel like a little is not enough. Now, I just leave the room and come back and see if I need more or if I'm ok.

The other reason I don't buy high-end makeup brand for the bronzing powder is because usually last for a year top (this symbol  is how you know when you need to throw a product. So example, you would need to throw this product after 12 months of being open.) and since it's work just fine with cheaper one it's a win/win situation! The one I use is the Marcelle bronzing powder, I really like it because it's really shimmery and give me a glowing skin.

Another really important thing that we forget while bronzing is the neck, always put bronzing powder on your neck! And don't give me the "it's going to mark my shirt" nonsense... you don't have to go this far. Your neck is paler because you chin prevent it from bronzing like the rest, so you really only need to go to your collarbone.

Contouring is also really important to give more dimension to your face. Again, I still use the same one, put now I also use the darker bronzing color to give even more definition to my cheekbone.

Here are all my tricks to have the perfect bronzing face this summer. Comment down bellow if you want a full makeup look for summer. Talk to you soon! bye bye -xxx-
