My gym failure... And getting back at running!

In December, I got a membership to the gym, I wasn't working so I went 3 times a week. Then in January, when I got my job, I start going less and less, making excuses and since February I went maybe 2 times. I was lucky since it was only 100$ for a year, but still, money wasted. I love working out in a gym I feel like it's liberating me from stress and angriness. But I work pretty far away from home and if I go, I'll be gone from 7am at 7h30 - 8h. Which I did, but hated.

Tuesday, a friend of mine call and ask me if I would be her partner to go run every morning at 5am. At first, I start making excuses; too early, I never have enough time to get ready in the morning if I take a shower, I'll be tired all day, etc.. But then I said fuck it and accepted =) We don't live near each other, so we're phone partner in : come on wake up! call and text of go go go! faster! I've always preferred working out in the morning, I hate eating before going, so 5am is perfect, drinking lots of water prevents you from being hungry and it's super good to drink it before eating, so another plus!


I downloaded the app zombies, run which I find so funny! I start slowly, without the zombie chase, since I haven't run in a long time. It was really motivating. You don't want to stop before the end of your mission. I will probably start adding some abs and maybe squat next week, but for the moment I'll try to concentrate on my running.
